I will give to the LORD the thanks due to HIS righteousness, and I will sing praises to the name of the LORD, the Most High. Psalm 7: 17
O LORD, is this the way YOU want me to start off my day, instead of grumbling and mumbling that things aren’t going the way “I” planned for the day? What would my spouse or my family think if I started to sing and praise YOU, for all YOUR goodness to me? Would they think I had lost my mind?
Could these be the words from my FATHER’S heart?
MY child, what if they did think you had gone crazy? Who cares? If you started to listen to music that you could join in on, singing and praising the LORD, the Most High, do you not think it would change you? Don’t let it bother you about what others think, if you are praising the ONE Who has done so much for you! Think of HIS righteousness and HIS holiness! Think of HIS matchless grace and mercy to you, and you were a sinner. When HE died, He didn’t die to save HIS friends, no, HE laid down HIS life for HIS enemies, and that included you. (John 15: 13) This is your SAVIOUR, the KING of Kings and LORD of Lords! Worship HIM with all your heart, singing and praising the ONE who has made it possible for you to become a “Child of the KING!”
May the words of this hymn flow from your heart today in praise and worship!
Praise the SAVIOUR, ye who know HIM!
Who can tell how much we owe HIM?
Gladly let us render to HIM
All we are and have.

O FATHER, all that I have I owe to YOU! YOU are worthy to be praised!
